HOUSTON -- Going green and saving taxpayers money -- that seems to be the new motto of Houston Mayor Bill White as he announced on Tuesday that the city took delivery of its 500th hybrid vehicle, KPRC Local 2 reported.

HOUSTON -- The city of Houston has welcomed its 500th hybrid vehicle and more are on the way, KPRC Local 2 reported Tuesday. The city's fleet includes 334 Toyota Prius models, 164 Ford Escapes and two Honda Insights.
